Junior MUN Delegation Visits Reigate
Selected girls from Years 7, 8 and 9 visited the British Library to take part in two research workshops. The first enabled them to see and learn about the magnificent collection of royal manuscripts currently being exhibited at the library. They learned about the making and significance of the manuscripts and looked closely, searching for the use of symbols. In the afternoon they reflected on the nature of research, the reliability of sources and qualities and experiences which have sustained great researchers, such as the Nobel Prize winners.
Workshop leaders commented on the quality of thinking evident in the girls' responses.
