We anticipate that PHC transport will be back to normal on Tuesday 7 February and we will confirm this on the website by 6.45 am.
We do still recommend to parents if driving to school that they use the main Gosmore route from Hitchin as we know this road is always gritted.
Selected girls from Years 7, 8 and 9 visited the British Library to take part in two research workshops, which included a study of the wonderful Royal Manuscript exhibition, currently being shown.
This term, PHC's younger boarders have begun to work towards the new Boarding Skills Award. This is a scheme launched by the Boarding Schools' Association which recognises many of the important soft skills learnt in a boarding setting, such as team work, leadership and compromise.
PHC is one of only ten boarding schools in the UK which are involved in piloting the scheme and Year 7 and 8 boarders have been busy tackling their first challenges with great enthusiasm.
