Please find below some basic directions to the Princess Helena College.

From London and the South

1. Leave the A1(M) at Junction 6 direction A1000 Welwyn

2. Take the second exit at the next two roundabouts

3. At the third roundabout, turn left direction B656 Hitchin and Codicote

4. At the next roundabout, turn right direction B656 Hitchin and Codicote

5. 7.3 miles from this roundabout, having passed through Codicote and Langley, carry on past the turning signposted Whitwell and King's Walden, then turn left at the next crossroads marked Preston andthe Princess Helena College.

6. At the next junction, turn left up the hill. Pass the exit from the College, turn right at the first junction signposted the Princess Helena College. The main entrance to theCollege is 400 metres on the right.

From the North

1. Leave the A1(M) at Junction 8 direction A602 Hitchin

2. At the first roundabout, take the 2nd exit direction Gosmore

3. 3.7 miles from this roundabout, through Gosmore you will see the sign marked Preston. The main entrance to the College is 400 metres on the left, past the Dower House on the left and the Red Lion and the green on the right.

From Harpenden

1. From Harpenden High Street go up Sun Lane and continue into Westfield Road. At the bottom of Westfield Road, turn left onto the Lower Luton Road (B 653) and then immediately right into Bower Heath Lane (B 652).

2. Take the first turn right and bear left at a small road junction.

3. At the obvious T junction (Kimpton Bottom) turn right to Kimpton (B 652).

4. Drive through almost to the end of Kimpton and turn left after The White Horse pub onto Hitchin Road (B 651).

5. Continue on B 651 to Whitwell and go down the hill (Horn Hill) to the T junction. Turn right – still on the B 651 and sign posted Hitchin.

6. Drive through Whitwell and turn left - still on the B 651 and sign posted Hitchin and St Paul's Walden. Drive through St Paul's Walden and continue on the B 651 and take the next left - clearly marked Hitchwood Lane.

7. Drive through Hitch Wood and after passing Lady Grove Court turn left – sign posted Princess Helena College.

8. As reach Preston, there is a village sign for Preston and a 30 mph sign. Turn right after this into Princess Helena College.
