Sixth Form Boarding

The Dower House, our superb sixth form house, is set within the school grounds just 2 minutes walk from the main school. Run by House Parents Mr & Mrs Bot, it has a relaxed family atmosphere with:

a beautiful new extended kitchen
a dining room
a common room
a new ICT suite
a new study areas
individual bedrooms with study facilities

We positively encourage girls to personalise their space and to have a hands-on approach.We involve them in the decision making affecting the development of their facilities. If you visit the boarding house you will see how girls make themselves feel at home!

Sixth form boarders are encouraged to prepare for University life by managing their own time, cooking (although meals are also available in the main school) and doing laundry. We encourage girls to become accustomed to these things in a safe family environment with guidance from friendly staff.
